This policy describes what data SREgent ("we", "the Service") collects when you subscribe through Microsoft Marketplace and use the Service, why we collect it, and who else sees it.
We read your Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights data using read-only access you explicitly grant (see the workspace setup guide in your subscription dashboard) — we cannot modify your infrastructure.
Investigation questions and the monitoring data retrieved to answer them are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. This is a third-party, non-Azure service located outside your Azure tenant. Anthropic processes this data to generate the root-cause analysis and recommendations SREgent returns to you, subject to Anthropic's own privacy policy and API terms. We do not send your data to Anthropic for any purpose other than answering the specific question you asked.
Your subscription and usage records are stored in an Azure Database for PostgreSQL instance operated by SREgent. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train any model.
Subscription and usage information is shared with Microsoft as required to operate metered billing through Microsoft Marketplace.
We retain subscription, workspace registration, and usage records for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for billing reconciliation and legal compliance. Investigation questions and retrieved monitoring data are processed to generate a response and are not separately retained beyond what's needed to return that response to you and to record usage for billing.
You control what SREgent can access — you grant and can revoke read access to your Azure resources at any time via Azure RBAC. Canceling your subscription stops further data collection; contact us to request deletion of retained account data.
